Officeyew has 5 different applications on the marketplace, all tied to the office furniture industry. If you want to use the website or app for any of the applications, you need to register and establish a login.
Buy and Sell Office Furniture:
The first application allows you to buy and sell office furniture or accessories. By simply taking a few pictures with your phone or camera, you can upload them to the app/website, give a brief description, and set a price you are ready to sell for. Buyers searching on Officeyew can message you through the Officeyew messaging system if they would like to purchase. Transactions can be made while dealing directly with the seller offline, or through the Officeyew site, giving both the buyer and seller confidence that they are not being scammed.
Find an Installer:
The second application helps users find an installer or installation company for furniture pick-up, moving, and installation. Everyone who’s registered will be directed to a drop-down box where they can designate how they would like to be viewed on the site. If someone is looking for an installer, they would scroll down the "Search an Installer" button, fill in a brief questionnaire, and submit it. The request is sent out to all installers in the area to bid on. Once bids are submitted, the person looking for an installer will receive multiple responses from which they can choose their preference.
Find a Designer:
The third application connects users with freelance interior designers, CAD designers, or commercial interior design firms. Companies or individuals looking for furniture layouts, design ideas, or full furniture project support can scroll down to the "Search a Designer" button, fill in a brief questionnaire, and submit it. The request is sent out to all designers or interior design companies in the area to bid on. Once bids are submitted, the user will receive multiple responses and can choose their preferred designer.
Environmental Impact Tracking:
The fourth application is an Environmental Impact page that monitors the positive environmental effects of buying and selling used furniture on Officeyew. It tracks the impact on CO₂ emissions, the amount of furniture and waste being kept out of landfills, and how much furniture is being repurposed. This real-time dashboard provides users with insights into their contributions to sustainability and showcases the collective impact of the Officeyew community on the environment.
Charity Contributions:
The fifth application designates 10% of all profits made on Officeyew to charities around the world. These contributions support causes that fight hunger, poverty, sex trafficking, slavery, and provide aid to orphanages. By using Officeyew, users are not only participating in a sustainable marketplace but also making a positive difference in the lives of those in need globally.
